She has been an occupational therapist for thirty years. Since 1993, she has specialized in sensory processing dysfunctions and their effect on behavior. In 1997 she published a research paper on the efficacy of the Snoezelen for children with mental retardation.
She is currently studying for a doctorate, specializing in the area of sensory processing dysfunctions. In 2001 she received a recognition award in occupational therapy in
Today she develops projects and trains staff to understand the Snoezelen approach.
